Sr. Manager, Technology: Fiber@Home

Simon is working as network personal in Fiber@Home for last 5 years. He desigined and deployed the International Internet Gateway (IIG) and International Terrestrial Cabel (ITC).

Before that he designed that Fiber to the Home (FTTx ) project in here with GPON technology. He leaded the transmission team and build up the largest fast growing private open access network on SDH and DWDM Technology.

He also worked in the regulator of Bangladesh called Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission ( BTRC ), worked the first satellite launching project and introduction of WiMAX in Bangladesh.

Beside his work, he is part of all the regional NOGs like bdNOG, SANOG. He was part of the organizer in SANOG-21 and bdNOG-1. Increasing the local talents in the international arena is one of the part of his goal. He is also regular participants of APRICOT.
